In the previous round, Epsom had drawn Teddington which looked a tough draw but cantered to a 7-0 victory.
This round saw us with another tough draw with Surbiton the visitors to a bright and sunny Freemen's school.
After seeing her U14 girls win against Reigate, Karen had the task of guiding the boys to her second win of the day with valuable input on the sidelines from Ethan.
The game started well and Epsom were 2-0 up at half time with goals from Oli and James.
The boys like to keep the games entertaining for the neutrals and despite creating a lot of chances, let Surbiton pull back to 2-2.
The O55 mens team waiting to play next were hoping this didn't go to flicks to prolong their warming up and thankfully Oli scored his second of the match, this time from a short corner to get the decisive goal in a close fought game and progress to the next round.
