COVID-19: Return to Hockey

COVID-19: Return to hockey – it’s been great to see so many members enjoying their hockey safely these past few months and into the start of season.

Everyone involved in the Club – players, coaches, volunteers, officials and spectators – has a responsibility to read and comply with the guidelines.

UPDATE: Return to play from 19 July 2021 (until further notice) – it was confirmed by the Government that from 19 July (in England) most of the legal restrictions relating to Covid-19 would end. As a result of this England Hockey released an updated guidance about managing hockey within Covid – click here for the PDF. This confirms that there are no longer any limits on the number of people that can participate in, and spectate, hockey, both indoors and outdoors.  It also removes the limitations on changing rooms, clubhouses, hospitality and domestic travel.

Below you will find details of our Covid Officer (a volunteer position), visiting our pitch (Old Schools Lane), our current facemask policy, our photography policy and a summary of England Hockey’s ‘step 4’ guidance including a video.

Post match we invite you back to the Clubhouse at Woodcote Road where showers are available. Match teas will be provided and the bar is open!
